“We can’t tell kids they are limitless and then start their lives out teaching them that something as arbitrary as the dresscode is something worth shaming over.” —Tabatha

What our customers have shared about velocitoddler

We love Velocitoddler for our child! We come back again and again as he grows to keep him clad in this amazing handmade, organic or upcycled footwear and clothing, and gift Velocitoddler items to friends’ little ones whenever we have the opportunity.
— Rachel Z.
Everything is hand made with love. I’ve tried to get things in my size but unfortunately nothing will fit! Tabatha is definitely a pro at what she does, fun, soft fabrics compliment trendy, artistic designs.
Definitely check them out and remember to tell all the other moms and dads to do the same!
— Matthew T.
This woman-owned shop is one of the highlights of Albuquerque’s local business scene. The owner is an incredibly talented seamstress, and has a unique style uncommon among children’s clothing. The little shoes are simply wonderful, both sturdy and beautiful! The clothing is well made, and so cute!
— Lee R.
When my son was a few weeks old, a friend stopped by with the gift of some tiny shoes and pants in a unisex strawberry pattern. We were enchanted with them. The card in the bag read, “Tiny Shoes for Tiny Humans.” That company evolved into Velocitoddler! My little guy has worn their hats, pants, and shoes over the years, and we love to give Velocitoddler as gifts. Great quality, original designs, and so comfy.
— Rachel L.
If you have a child and haven’t gotten this clothing yet, you’re missing out. Gotten several pieces already, but my favorite is the cuttlefish print hat we got. Constantly getting, “I love his hat” by adults and other kids actually. Freaking love the lasting quality she puts out and excited for our next one on the way to wear them as well.
— Robert H.
Bought my littles (not my kids, but kids I love) gifts from here. Prompt delivery, amazing prints (cuttlefish! Bats!), wonderful handmade designs. Only the best fof my littles!
— Becky V.

“Great handmade clothes to give your friend who didn’t have a gender-reveal confetti explosion party. Sweet shop, with one-of-kind gifts.”
— Laira M.
If hipsters greeted each other by tickling and blowing raspberries, and communicated via coos and gurgles, they’d all shop at Very Small Shoes. This place, man, it’s just too alt-adorable for Albuquerque, beginning with The Shins LP that was playing by the front door, and continuing on with the damn-you-nailed-it Etsy-esque handmade/indie/Regina Spektor-style fashion take on hats, shirts, footies and accessory accoutrement designed for babies and cute little kiddos up to the age of four, sewn in-house by Tabatha.
— Howie K.
Tabatha makes exceptionally comfortable and beautiful clothing and shoes for little ones. I love that the clothes are easy to move in, which is so important for babies and toddlers learning to move, while the fabrics are all special and unusual.
